Ultra is a medium energy diet formulated to meet the nutrient requirements of the Hunter, Endurance, Show Jumper and Eventing Horses during periods of intense work and competition. Ultra is also useful in preparing horses for sales, and for Race Horses that are in little or no work.

INGREDIENTS:

Barley, Peas, Maize, Molasses, Linseed Flake, Canola Oil, Soya Bean Meal (48% protein), Sunflower Seeds, Salt, Limestone, Magnesium, Di-Calcium Phosphate 21/18, Trace Minerals and Vitamins, Lysine, Molasses.

NUTRIENT ANALYSIS (Dry Matter Basis):

DE Energy 14.82 MJ/kg
Protein 15.66%
Crude Fibre 4.36%
Fat 2.71%
Salt 1.17%
Calcium 1.16%
Phosphorus 0.35%

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Feed Ultra at two kilograms per day for horses in light work increasing up to four kilograms per day for horses in competition. It is important that the horse receives sufficient fibre as hay, chaff or pasture to ensure good hindgut digestive physiology. Ensure that at least one and a half percent of the horses body weight is provided as fibre from hay, chaff or pasture. Feed in as many feeds as possible, but no less than two feeds per day. Allow free access to feed ensuring stale or uneaten food is removed daily. Water should be freely available. Salt is provided at good levels in Ultra to meet electrolyte requirements. Under heavy work conditions, or in horses prone to sweating, additional salt or electrolyte mixture maybe required.
