Meadow Chaff is a versatile fibre source that helps form the foundation of a balanced equine diet.

80L = approximately 20kg

It provides quality roughage to support digestive function, gut health, and natural chewing behaviour.

The quality of meadow chaff is influenced by pasture species, stage of maturity, and harvest methods. Future Feeds Meadow Hay is left to mature fully to help reduce the level of endophytes typically found in New Zealand meadow paddocks.

Its balanced chop length encourages chewing and saliva production while remaining easy to consume and mix through the ration. This helps reduce feed sorting and supports consistent intake.

Meadow Chaff is suitable for horses of all ages and workloads, especially those needing quality roughage without the higher protein and calcium levels found in lucerne.
