Lucerne Chaff is a quality fibre source that provides natural energy, protein, and valuable nutrients for horses.

80L = approximately 20kg

It is especially well suited to horses needing support with condition, performance, and overall nutritional intake.

The nutritional value of lucerne is strongly influenced by leaf retention, as the leaf is the most nutrient-dense part of the plant. Future Feeds bales its lucerne at a higher moisture content before drying it in bale form, helping preserve leaf quality while reducing dust.

Future Feeds Lucerne Chaff is processed to achieve a balanced chop length that supports chewing, saliva production, and effective fibre utilisation while helping reduce feed sorting.

As a legume, lucerne is naturally rich in calcium, which can help buffer stomach acidity and support a healthy gastric environment.
