Ultramox is a powerful 3-in-1 combination wormer and boticide for horses, providing broad-spectrum control of roundworms, tapeworms and bots – including abamectin-resistant Parascaris equorum. Its triple-active formulation delivers both immediate and persistent parasite control in a single, easy-to-administer oral paste.

Suitable for all classes of horses, Ultramox is safe for breeding stock, pregnant and lactating mares, and foals over 4 weeks of age (when dosed correctly).

Indications

For the treatment and control of internal parasites in horses, including:

Roundworms

• Parascaris equorum (including abamectin-resistant strains)
• Small strongyles (Cyathostomum, Cylicocyclus, Cylicostephanus spp.) – mature, immature, encysted & inhibited stages
• Large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus)
• Trichostrongylus axei
• Strongyloides westeri
• Oxyuris equi
• Dictyocaulus arnfieldi

Tapeworms

• Anoplocephala perfoliata

Bots

• Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages)

Active Ingredients

Each gram of paste contains:

• Oxfendazole 200 mg
• Praziquantel 50 mg
• Moxidectin 8 mg

Dosage & Administration

• Dose rate: 1 g per 20 kg bodyweight

• Route: Oral use only

• Do not underdose

Set the correct dose by adjusting the plunger lock on the syringe before administration. Deposit the paste onto the rear of the tongue and hold the horse’s head up briefly to ensure the full dose is swallowed.
